1. Who we are

Physique Calculator (this website) is an independent, free educational tool. See our About page for more on who maintains it and our Contact page for how to reach us.

2. Calculator data

All calculations (body fat percentage estimates, FFMI, lean mass, calorie targets, and every other result on the Calculator page) are performed using JavaScript that runs locally in your browser. The values you type in are not intentionally transmitted to, or stored on, our server as part of providing the calculation.

We do not require an account, a login, or any personally identifying information to use the calculator. If you close the tab, your inputs are gone — we don't keep them.

3. What we can't fully control

We do not claim that no data is processed anywhere. Like virtually every website, this one depends on infrastructure and third-party services that process some technical information as a normal part of how the web works:

• Hosting provider. Any web host or CDN we use will typically log basic technical request data (such as IP address, browser type, and timestamp) for security and operational purposes, the same way almost all web servers do.
• Google Fonts, Font Awesome (via cdnjs), and Tailwind CSS (via CDN). This site loads its typefaces, icons, and CSS framework from third-party content delivery networks. Requesting these files causes your browser to contact Google's and Cloudflare's servers directly, which — as a technical function of that request — can receive your IP address and standard request headers.
• Google Analytics (GA4). We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage (which pages are visited, roughly how, and how often). Analytics is configured with a consent-mode default of "denied" and does not begin measuring until you interact with the cookie-consent banner (see Section 4). When active, Google Analytics processes data according to Google's Privacy Policy.

4. Cookies & consent

We use CookieYes to display a cookie-consent banner and remember your preference. That preference itself is stored in a cookie. Non-essential cookies (such as those used by Google Analytics) are set to "denied" by default and only activate if you accept them through the banner.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by reopening the cookie preferences (typically available via a small tab or link the CookieYes widget adds to the page), or by clearing cookies in your browser settings.

5. Advertising

This website does not currently display third-party advertising. If that changes in the future (for example, through Google AdSense), we will update this Privacy Policy first to describe which advertising service is used, what data it processes, and how you can opt out or manage ad personalization — before any ads go live.

6. Contact forms & email

If you contact us by email (see Contact), we receive whatever information you choose to include in that email (such as your email address and message content) so that we can reply to you. We use that information only to respond to your inquiry.

7. Children's privacy

This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your choices

• You can use the calculator without providing any personally identifying information.
• You can decline non-essential cookies via the consent banner.
• You can use browser settings or extensions to block analytics or third-party requests.
• You can contact us with any privacy question — see Contact.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the website changes — for example, when we finalize a hosting provider, add a contact form, or introduce advertising. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
